A little about me and my family!

Hey Leann here!

I'm just a average country Mama
I enjoy Cooking, Sewing, Being Crafty,
Blogging, Spending Time with my Family & Friends,
Going to Church, listening to music

I have 2 super sweet girls

*

My Oldest we will call Mama's Lil Diva (due to privacy)
is 9 and shes entering 4th grade
she goes to a public school and
is happy there.
She is a lot like me with her craftyness
but shes alot like her dad too
she loves softball and soccer and
I am a total Soccer Mama

I am normally in the dug out with the girls with Softball
its great to be involved !

*

Then there's my youngest her actual nick name is
Bana Bana
She's 7 and she will be going into the 2nd grade next week!
I homeschooled her for half of the year last year
and I will be homeschooling her this year as well
A lot of people ask me why one and not the other
but no two children are the same
so it works for us

She stays busy she cheers, plays softball,
and some years she plays soccer as well

*
They are best friends!

Then there's the hubbs
He's a total Sports Dad
He coaches most of their teams
and is always helping them practice
He thinks I'm crazy when I take pictures of my food etc to
blog about lol
gotta luv him

Our family loves going to church
we are normally there at least 3 times a week
The girls participate in Drama
(where they use hand motions to
christian music)
and they are also in the children's choir
They love singing especially Mama's Diva!
I have actually started giving them a mini piano lesson each week

*
Enough about me ...
if your reading this blog tell me a little about yourself!

leggings leggings and a little organization

Bana Bana is addicted to leggings
its so hard to sort through all of her leggings
so i took a shoe holder
and I put 3-5 pairs in each pocket
there normally 20 pockets so you can arrange them
by color pattern style etc!
I just roll her leggings instead of folding them
Her door stays open..
its really never closed and there's a partial wall
behind the door so they stay hidden

I signed my lil homeschooler "Banna Banna" up for this one
My oldest daughter did this program at her old school
and really liked it but they don't do it at her new school.

I also saw (and I don't remember where) a really
neat reading incentive program

Teacher Gift

Its kind of a tradition in our family to make the Teacher a present for the 1st day of school.
So here is what my oldest my "lil Diva" and I made for her teacher for the 2013/2014 school year..

Here is what you will need:
1 box 24 (23) crayons (back to school .50cents)
1 blackboard (I got mine for $3.00 at walmart in the craft section)
1 pack of chalk (only need 1 piece of it... .48cents at WM)
glue sticks and glue gun
ribbon (I already had some)
and some type of embellishment I used a flower

Then all you do is glue the crayons onto the frame as shown in photo and I glued a piece at the chalk
then glue your flower or whatever you have on the corner
and attach the ribbon in the middle of the board in the back (use plenty of glue back there)
and that's it!
My daughter wrote a little message on the back along with her name so the teacher would remember who gave it to her....

As for my youngest daughter who I home-school "Banna Banna"
she has yet to make me something she made her teacher something last year
so maybe she will make me something this year. hehe
