Science - Learning About Earth

Last year we used Christian Kids Explore Science - Biology

 and 

we loved it so much that we are back this year using

CKE - Earth & Space

We started out the week coloring a structure of the earth coloring sheet..

Today we worked hard on making something special..

We used a hole punch so we could hang it from the ceiling

She said she was tired and just wanted to do something simple

so she did..

Simple Celery Science Experiment

Plants have veins

to adsorb water 

What you will need

Celery

jar

food color

place celery in jar

fill with water

squeeze a couple drops of food coloring into the jar/jars

we used different colors

wait and have a yummy celery snack

RESULTS

The Red did very well

The Green had a slight lime green tint 

The Blue had a slight blue tint

So we found out that red did the best

She learned that plants have veins 

She really enjoyed this science experiment

What you will need

clear container

Sweet potato

tooth picks if you need them

How to do it

 Sweet Potato Science Experiment 

All you need to do is put the tip of the sweet potato 

small end down

in water

and wait
